Mantak Chia’s team wanted to spread Master Chia’s learning to a broader audience. Additionally, they aimed to increase brand awareness and drive higher website traffic. Their Instagram strategy was based upon these two goals:
1. Grow their social media presence
2. Increase their brand awareness.
Supercharged Instagram Strategy
To best capture his targeted audience’s attention, we reworked longer videos from sites like YouTube to create short, easily consumable lessons native to Instagram. This strategy was made with a focus on user experience and simplicity so that anyone can follow along with ease.
Before working with Young With Solutions, their Instagram strategy involved posting IGTV videos. However, we decided to shake things up a bit. The result?
We paired trending sounds with videos from their youtube channel, and as a result, we got a more engaging experience for consumers while driving higher lifetime value.
The Challenge
Capturing the essence and methodology of an ancient practice such as Taoism was a stumbling block. In addition, Master Chia wasn’t delighted to be more active and visible on Instagram. As a result, we had to tweak our plan in a way that did justice to the practice and connection with the audience despite Master Chia’s less presence on the platform.
The Breakthrough
We worked closely with his team to ensure that we could keep all the key takeaways from the interview, and then we began creating different style videos and Instagram posts. Our strategy was to ensure that the company messaging didn’t get lost in translation. From sharing information about Tao practices to delivering How-to and motivational posts, the strategy was a mix of education and awareness.
As a result, we were able to grow their Instagram account from 30k to 100k. It was a big win for us as we successfully navigated a new niche and were able to grow exponentially.
Through reliable methods, we successfully guided Master Chia’s team into a niche and reaped the benefits of them reaching much more than they could have thought possible.
